Freelance Travel Writing Snorkeling in Cabo San Lucas is one of the finest water adventures in this planet. Having a sight of this underwater ecosystem which is full of lively aquatic life and amazing coral reefs is quite a spectacle that you shouldn't miss.

The world famous marine biologist, Sir Jacques Cousteau, finds this place amazing and so will you.

The top 3 diving hot spots for snorkeling in Cabo San Lucas

The Corridor - this snorkeling site is located between the Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Within this area are still more diving spots that cater to guests who wants to see the beauty of the marine life.

Among these sites is the Sta. Maria Cove. It has clear blue waters and very rich in marine life. Colorful fishes, eels and octopus are abundantly found in this place, though you can see more of the marine life as its depth extends up to 20 to 60 feet.

Cabo Pulmo - Cabo Pulmo is said to be the best area in Cabo where you can dive and snorkel. This place shows the living coral reefs of the Sea of Cortez and schools of colorful fishes, dolphins, hammerheads and even whale sharks. The place also offers very good visibility underwater and warm water temperatures.

Lover's Beach - This is another good site to snorkel in Cabo San Lucas. Because this beach is quite secluded, water taxis can be hired to reach the beach. Because of its temperate waters, the beach is a good area for diving, snorkeling and just soaking. Aside from being a good place to do snorkeling, this beach can also be a couple's romantic getaway.

Even though it's called Lover's Beach, this is also perfect for families. In winter months, the group of sea lions often appears and strut their stuff to the delight of the island visitors. They are usually seen on the big rocks that are scattered in the waters.

There are actually many more sites that you can enjoy snorkeling in Cabo. You can even sign in a tour so you can visit more places to enjoy the marine life in Cabo.
