Submit a different unique article to hundreds of sites

Hi and welcome to Articles About Travel. You are probably here for one of two reasons. Either you are looking for travel related articles to use as content for your website, blog or magazine. Or you are a traveling author and are looking for somewhere to publish your articles.

This could be to promote your website, share your experiences with the world, or just so your creations are put somewhere safe, where you can come back to them later.

Either way, you have come to the right place. Articles About Travel is a place where authors can come and publish their travel related articles for free, so others can come and use those articles however they see fit.

If you are an author, please sign up for a free account and submit the quality content you have written when you are ready. Please only submit your own articles though, submit them to the correct category and include your bio and resources in the author's footnote at the bottom. If you think we need more categories to fit your niche, let us know and I'll add them in. There is a proviso here - obviously the new category has to be travel related.

If you are a publisher who wants to use this content, please remember all the articles here are copywrited material. You must remember to acknowledge the author by including their resource section when you publish their work Its only fair, it was the author who put in the hard work.

I hope you really enjoy this website. I'm an avid traveler myself, I caught the so called "travel bug" during my career as I had to make frequent trips to South Africa. Thats the main reason I created this directory. You see, I just love to write about my experiences. For me its as much about coming back to the memory later as it is about sharing.

I've made a habit of writing as I travel, when the experience is still fresh in my mind. Once I've put something down, I come to articles-about-travel.com, load my articles no matter where I am in the world (all I need is an internet cafe) and then they are all waiting for me when I return home. This means I can relive the experiences so much better as my reflections were observed and documented when I was experiencing them, not later when trying to recount them.

Its amazing the number of times I get home, read an article and think "Oh yeah, I almost forgot that already..."

So enjoy your travels and your writing. If you need any help with anything, please send me a message through the form on the contacts page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Kindest Regards,

Damian Papworth

  • Review Of Caribbean Holidays For First Time Travellers

     By:Edward Watkinson

Travelling is a good way to ease off from routine workloads, and to get together to spend a bit of spare time with your loved ones. Due to the recent recession, and economic downturn, travellers have become more sensible in choosing where to travel to, and how to spend their holiday time. Despite this, the most important aspect of travelling is that you enjoy your stay, wherever you go.

  • Lost to History: Monterey, California

     By:James G. Pynn

Monterey is the city California seems to have forgotten. Once the city was the capital of the entire Spanish and Mexican territory. Now, it is a tourist trap, a new haven for marine biologists and oceanographers. Not that there is anything diminishing about the city's new found academic relevance, but it is a far cry from being the center of culture and government it once was.

  • Some Of The Lesser Known Digital Camera Brands

     By:Chris Campbell

There are some Fujifilm digital camera problems, but nothing very serious. The Finepix Z5fd has a few problems with the design. Users report that because the camera is so flat that it is hard to locate and feel the buttons. It is also reported that one of the problems with this camera is that it does not refocus or zoom in movie mode.

Are you preparing to visit an incredible site this summer to pass a luxury holiday? What about Canada? This is a very lowly populated country, but it is second major country in the globe. In Northern Canada you can watch ice floating on the sea. You may have heard of the land of the Tundra. This is in Canada, which is also called a frozen land where things barely grow. By moving to the South of the Tundra, you can see rivers and lakes.

  • Slathering Passengers with Oil

     By:Kerry Smith

I opened the paper today to discover that the traveling public's old nemesis is back at it again. Les LeGroom has been an insidious presence in the airline industry for a long time but his influence is having an ever greater reach with a new rash of aircraft deliveries. Airlines are taking possession of airplanes that have same-size cabins as earlier ones but with the important distinction of having more seats crammed into them. Les has been up to this trick of squeezing humanity into tighter and tighter spaces for quite some time. Airlines have been hiring him as a key consultant ever since he left the sardine canning industry.

  • Travel Brochures to the Rescue

     By:Allister Rhodes

Half the fun of planning a vacation is getting to chose where you get to go. Every time I get one of my free travel guides, I enjoy flipping through the different pages to see which destinations jump out at me. Everyone looks for something different in a destination. Some people want to spend their entire time soaking up the sun. Some people want to spend their time touring historic locations. While other's want to spend their time getting to know the natives. Whatever it is you want to do you will want to have a plan of action set before you even think about packing your bags.

England has long been a destination for both straight and gay travel, but when it comes to choosing a location for a gay vacation, England is about as welcoming and inviting as they come. An active, visible LGBT community, abundant gay events and establishments, and gay rights that far outshine what has been granted in the United States, England is an ideal setting for gay vacations. With the lively London nightlife, beautiful Brighton beaches and the picturesque countryside that gives way to sprawling urban skylines, England has much to offer for any kind of gay travel tourist.
